MDO Music Show

The 3-year-old classes at Hampton's Mother's Day Out program performed for all the parents last week. They sang 3 songs, and we were so excited to see Hampton and his little friends that we bundled Hayden Kate up and took her with us to see the show. We use a cover for the car seat, so she wasn't in any danger of grubby little hands, and we were still able to get to her & show her off to our adult friends.

The performance was exactly as we'd hoped it would be...a complete, hilarious mess! They sang Away in a Manger, Jingle Bells, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. It was the cutest thing ever to see the children singing & doing their arm motions to each song. What was really funny, though, was the kids who were singing completely wrong songs or the ones who stood there the whole time with their arms crossed. Hampton sang with gusto, and he really did a great job keeping the rhythm of the songs. We are so, so happy that we got to see the performance and we look forward to seeing many, many more in the years to come!
