After celebrating Christmas at our house, we headed up to Paul & Jan's house for lunch. The boys had a great time testing out their new bikes, even though it was pretty cold outside. We had a great visit, then headed home for some much-needed rest!

Christmas Morning
Christmas morning was wild and fun at the Howard house! Harrison woke up at 5am, so we kept him occupied with cartoons in our bedroom until Hampton woke up a little before 7. We read the Christmas story, then headed out to see what Santa had delivered. The boys were super-excited about their goodies, especially the racecars, planes, and Hayden Kate's princess castle. That poor baby may not even get to play with it, as much as the boys love it! We caved in to the boys' wishes of chocolate doughnuts for breakfast (along with sausage pinwheels that Hampton gobbled up), and then managed to snap a few family pictures of us being silly. It was a magical Christmas morning, and we loved every second of it!

Happy New Year!
We hope everyone has a very Happy New Year! 2013 was such a wonderful year for us, and we can't wait to see what's in store for 2014!
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." --Jeremiah 29:11

Happy Anniversary!
Today is our 14th wedding anniversary! Who can believe that all these years later we'd have three kids, including a 3-week old? Especially since we were just going to have dogs & travel! It's been a fun, bumpy, surprising, and wonderful journey that feels like forever & an instant all at the same time. We wouldn't change any of it for the world! We can't wait to see what our Roller Coaster of Love has in store for us in this next year & beyond....say what!?!
Monday
Henson Christmas
Since Bob & Randi were in TN for Christmas this year, we celebrated with them on Sunday. We had a delicious brunch of all the good stuff, including SOS, fried potatoes, and monkey bread. We opened gifts, then played and hung out until it was naptime. It was a fun way to kick off Christmas week!

Merry Christmas!
"When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshipped Him. "
--Matthew 2:10-11

Christmas Artwork
Here are some of the crafts that Hampton made at Mom's Day Out this month. We especially love the Santa list that says we need another computer. That's pretty much the last thing we need! Who knows where he comes up with this stuff? No matter....we just love all the cute memories of the holiday season!
